Bright Start for 2017
Bright Start for 2017..... Richardson Trek had riders at the Eddie Soens, Velo Park and Cyclo Park on Saturday and it didn't go too bad for the team. Kieran travelled to Liverpool for his first race of the season and made the race winning move in the early season classic The Eddie Soens Memorial, he was going for the win in the sprint where he took a fine 10th place behind the winner, JLTs Ed Clancy. Behind the break Frank finished 16th across the line coming fourth in the rapid bunch sprint.

Meanwhile further south the boys were showing that they had come back from Majorca with good legs. A small but select field saw the Richardsons riders dominate the Cyclopark event in Kent with Luke Ryan and Jez escaping in the final laps to take a superb 1-2 and this was topped of by Luke H clipping off on the last lap to make it a 1-2-3 for the team. Across London at the Olympic Park it was down to Josh and George to show they were going just as well ! and they did just that. Josh escaped the front group alone at half distance and after biding his time was joined by George and the two of them worked well to nearly lap the field and take a fantastic 1-2 with Josh crossing the line first. Behind them riding his first race as a senior and for the team, young James Jenkins put in a notable performance, also making the race winning move he finished 5th just behind Catford Banks Josh Lawless.
A great start to his time in orange
